Supporting Neonatal Care in Ukraine: Life-Saving Equipment Delivered to Hospitals in Dnipro and Zaporizhzhia

A neonatal care unit with medical devices

Between 2022 and 2024, the neonatal department of the hospital in Dnipro was equipped with critical medical devices to improve care for premature and critically ill newborns. Thanks to these efforts, the hospital received:

  • 1 RD900AEU Neopuff™ resuscitator
  • 1 PCS-414 air compressor, model T14618
  • NO-AF-KR3 neonatal phototherapy and heating devices (delivered August and November 2024)
  • 1 HEACO G3D patient monitor

This vital equipment — including neonatal monitors, oxygen delivery systems, phototherapy lamps, and infusion pumps — is actively used in the neonatal intensive care unit, significantly enhancing the hospital's capacity to provide life-saving care.

In March 2025, the Zaporizhzhia Regional Clinical Children's Hospital also benefited from new deliveries, receiving:

  • 3 Rad-97 pulse oximeters (Masimo, USA)
  • 6 reusable neonatal sensors designed for different weight categories
  • 3 reusable pulse oximetry cables

These advanced devices support improved newborn monitoring and emergency response, ensuring that vulnerable infants receive timely and accurate care.

Through these targeted equipment donations, our program continues to strengthen neonatal healthcare infrastructure in Ukraine, directly contributing to saving young lives in some of the most critical early moments.
