Know Your Rights

Temporary Protected Status (TPS)
Ukrainians in the U.S. may be eligible for TPS, which allows: Protection from deportation, Work authorization, Travel authorization, Temporary stay
Asylum Information
Ukrainians fearing persecution may apply for asylum. Must apply within 1 year of entry (with exceptions for extraordinary circumstances). Can include family members in application.
Humanitarian Parole
For urgent entry into the U.S. due to humanitarian reasons (often used for family reunification). Ukrainians may be eligible for programs like Uniting for Ukraine.
Visas for Ukrainians
Visitor Visas (B-1/B-2), Student Visas (F-1), Employment-based Visas (H-1B, L-1, O-1). Ukrainian nationals may qualify for expedited processing or waived fees in certain cases.
